Masala Chai
A rich, comforting black tea adorned with warming ginger and invigorating spices
A rich, comforting black tea adorned with warming ginger and invigorating spices
Our bold yet balanced blend pays homage to this vibrant tradition with a base of robust assamica from Southeast Asia. We layer in a generous helping of hot, citrusy ginger and fresh spices, including cardamom, cinnamon and clove. Simply mix with your choice of milk and sweeten to taste for a luxurious, comforting cup.
As one of our classic loose leaf chais, Masala Chai is best brewed with a simple infuser or teapot, letting the whole leaves fully unfurl for maximum flavor.

Shan State
Myanmar
Shan State, Myanmar, stretches across a highland plateau defined by rolling mountains, fertile valleys and a long history of tea cultivation. The region is home to several ethnic groups, including the Palaung (Ta’ang), Shan and Pa-O peoples, many of whom share deep cultural ties to tea traditions that extend into neighboring Yunnan Province and Northern Thailand. Tea has long been woven into daily life here; for generations, families tended small plots of tea alongside fruit trees such as mango and jackfruit, cultivating leaves for household use as well as local trade.

Have purchased this numerous times. Best masala chai I have ever had and I'm Indian been making tea for family since I was a child. Have tried many different brands but nothing has come close to rishi masala loose leaf. Closest thing to masala chai in India by far.
